Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org)- Three Ethiopian military soldiers were today killed and six others seriously wounded in burning confrontation between them the Ethiopian soldiers and their arch foes around the former past factory and towards Gubta location in the northern direction of the capital Mogadishu.
The fight instigated when armed Ethiopian soldiers opponents attacked an Ethiopian military truck passing along the industrial street.
After the attack of the truck the Ethiopian troops extended themselves at the main industrial street towards the Coca-Cola factory and the former pasta factory, which is presently a base for the Ethiopian troops.
A resident in the area who requested his name not to be disclosed to press said that he has seen three bodies of the Ethiopian troops lying on the ground, and added that the situation in the area is now clam.
Likewise this witness said that the Ethiopian troops eventually returned back to their base in the national stadium after the dreadful combat with the islamist group.
So far there is no civilian casualties reported trapped in the confrontation between the Ethiopian troops and their adversary in the capital Mogadishu.
Both sides have been using different types of weapons including rocket propelled grenades and mortars.
The battle halted the entire movements of public transportation and pedestrians in the zone as well.
The battle started dawn this morning around the former pasta factory, but then escalated to other various sections.
